November Beauty Round-up

It’s quite a month. November brought us to a new country and I've spent the last several days unpacking all of our stuff after its six-week journey at sea. Man do we have a lot of shit. Every time I think we’ve gotten rid of enough, it always amazes me to see it all packed [...]

October Beauty Round-up

Well, we're four days into quarantine and there's no going back now. Just kidding -- we're super excited to have finally made it to London. It's been a looooooong time coming. And if the main photo for this post is any indication, I tried to use up as many of my beauty products as possible [...]

The Nighttime Skincare Formula I Always Follow

As you've come to know from reading this blog, I will complete my nighttime skincare routine come hell, high water or questionable bathroom. My skin needs a twice-a-day cleanse and the right formula of ingredients to keep her happy and no matter how tired I am, I get it done. There's no excuse for sleeping [...]

The Daytime Skincare Formula I Always Follow

What is the right way order to apply skincare products? This is a very, very popular question and it took a while for me to sort out the best answer for my skin. While there is a clear trend in the answers provided by dermatologists and estheticians, no two complexions are alike. As you've probably [...]

The 5 Skincare Products I Keep Repurchasing

Relationships and skincare have a lot in common. For better or for worse, we have some of each we keep going back to time and time again, am I right? But unlike that boy who's just not that into you (sorry, rewatched SATC last week), once you find the right products for your skin, it's [...]

Happy Sunday! Had to bring my favorite express mask from @lixirskin back into my routine. Some topical vitamin C products are too strong for my skin and make me break out. I love that this mask gives me the benefits of vitamin C quickly without having to leave it on all day. I slather it on before hopping in the shower and it gives my complexion a boost in just a few minutes.
Gimme gimme gimme a “free” gift with purchase, haha. So many goodies in this one from @johnlewis to try.
Having my first Zoom in a while so I decided to reach for this gal from @clinique to give my complexion a boost. The gel formula is great for my oily skin and the rosy hue really perks up a dull winter complexion. Paired it with the Active Cartridge Concentrate for Lines & Wrinkles because hey, I’ll always take some extra help there.
Peacock is the level of extra I’m gonna be as soon as we can safely get dressed up and go out again.
Just finished an intense 5-week workout challenge with @pvolve and I’m feeling strong and proud of all my hard work. I also know I’ll be reaching for this guy, which has CBD, hemp oil, essential oils like peppermint and hydrating ingredients like shea butter.
My skin definitely had an adjustment period after moving to the UK. Today on the blog, I’m sharing how my skin reacted in the months since we arrived in our new home and how I changed my skincare routine to fix it. Link in bio.
